I go to samsung official shop and they have promotion offer me HK$17500 (USD2240) book 4 Ultra 2TB 64gb version but require me trade in one old laptop and one old smartphone to them, but this price with Tab s9 fe in free gift, this offer sound intersting and i may go to buy it tomorrow.
Have I been under a rock for a minute, or have laptop prices gotten insane? 3100GBP for that? I feel like could build something pretty beastly on desktop with this budget.

You can get an iphone 15 pro and an m4 ipad pro 11 in the price of a fold 6 .
Producing your own hardware software and services which is what apple does takes much more R&D than producing this gimmicky garbage.
Why do these guys want to create an ecosystem in the first place?
They don't design their own Hardware, Software and Services like apple does, so what's the point?
As always these OEMs just want to charge prices higher than apple for their utter garbage products.
These OEMs just keep forgetting that apple produces their own hardware, software and services and they can't replicate apple's perfectness.
Instead of trying charge as much as apple how about undercutting them in price and producing an all around better product.
But no these companies would rather produce half assed copied garbage to compete with Apple.
£3150 still in the UK for 32GB/1TB so absolutely no chance I would buy this over a MB Pro 16 M3 Max 38GB/1TB for £3299 (10% off on Amazon). There are many reasons, but the main ones are better speakers, haptic trackpad, nicer keyboard, higher brightness, faster, more efficient, better build quality, more ports, etc.
How does it run linux is what I would be interested in… It sounds nice, tho having Intel, lately nem hearing some bad things, and I don't know how good the thermals would do. You might end up such throttling you'd be better buying an i7, or i5 because the i9 will just allow to those levels anyway.
Boring is good sometimes when it comes to design.
Honestly, I don’t see myself going away from the Mac anytime soon. The combination of Intel’s bad hardware, and Microsoft’s Ad-ware filled OS, and the lack of proper integration with a smartphone is too much to deal with.
I wish we had a a true 3rd rival to both systems cause MacOS lacks touch and Apple won’t add it because they want to keep the iPad alive.

macbooks arent very pro. nice display sure but they weigh a ton and mac users are idiots. they dont even use multiple displays.
