Samsung FRP Bypass: A Step-by-Step Guide
Introduction
Assalamualaikum! How are you all? I hope you’re doing well and staying happy. In today’s video, we’re going to learn how to bypass the FRP (Factory Reset Protection) on Samsung devices. It doesn’t matter which Android version you have; this method works for Android versions 12, 13, and 14. I’ll show you this using an Android 14 device.
Understanding FRP
FRP is a security feature introduced by Google to protect your device and personal information. However, it can become a hassle if you forget your Google account credentials after a factory reset. Fortunately, there are methods to bypass this protection, and that’s what we will explore today.
Prerequisites
Before we start, you’ll need a few things:
- SamFW Tool: This tool will help us download the necessary firmware.
- A Samsung Device: Make sure you have a Samsung device with Android 12, 13, or 14.
- A stable internet connection: This is crucial for downloading files.
- USB Cable: To connect your device to the computer.
Step 1: Download SamFW Tool
First, you need to download the SamFW Tool. You can find it by searching on Google. Ensure you download the version that fits your device. Once it’s downloaded, open the application.
Step 2: Check Your Device’s Android Version
After opening the SamFW Tool, click on the MTP option to take a reading of your device. This will show you the version of Android that is currently installed on your device. In my case, it’s Android 14, which you can see on the screen.
Step 3: Check the Binary
Make sure to check the binary associated with your device. For example, I have a Samsung S9. It’s essential to identify the binary correctly because this will determine the files you need to download. If you look closely, there’s a significant difference in the flashing options. Flushing lower binary versions will not work.
Step 4: Download the Correct Firmware
Now, we need to download the correct firmware for our device. As mentioned, my device is an S9 running Android 14. However, we need to download the Android 15 firmware for the bypass.
Navigate to the Sam FW site and find the firmware files available. The top two files will be Android 15 and the files below will be for Android 14. Since my binary is U9, I will download the U9 firmware for Android 15.
Simply click on the download button next to the firmware file you need. If you’re using a different model, like an A05 or A14, follow the same method to find the appropriate firmware.
Step 5: Install the Firmware
Once the download is complete, you will need to install the firmware on your device. To do this, connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
Open the firmware you downloaded and follow the on-screen instructions to install it. Make sure you select the correct options—this is crucial.
Step 6: Bypass the FRP
After installing the firmware, the next step is to bypass the FRP. You can accomplish this by using bypass tools available online. Open the bypass tool and follow the instructions carefully.
Here’s a simple breakdown of how to do this:
-
Open the Bypass Tool: Once everything is installed, launch the bypass tool.
-
Follow Instructions: The tool will usually provide step-by-step instructions for bypassing.
-
Complete the Process: Once you’ve completed the steps, restart your device.
Step 7: Check If It Worked
After your device restarts, check to see if the FRP has been successfully bypassed. If everything went well, you should be able to access your device without any interruptions.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during the process, don’t worry; it happens to many users. Make sure to check the following:
- Ensure you downloaded the correct firmware version for your specific device model.
- Verify that all connections (USB, internet) are stable.
- Restart both your computer and device if you encounter any errors.
