In this video, I will be showing you how to remove FRP lock on a Vivo Y2S also known as Vivo V2026. This phone has come in with the FRP lock issue and I am going to show you how to easily remove it.

Detecting FRP Lock

Firstly, we need to check if the phone is locked. As you can see on the screen, there is a padlock icon in the top left corner which indicates that the phone is FRP locked.

Removing FRP Lock

To remove the FRP lock, we need to power up the phone. Press the volume down button and insert the cable. Next, open the unlock tool and select the Vivo tab. Type in the model number Y2S and choose version 3. Click on “Erase FRP” and follow the instructions.

Waiting for Device

The software will prompt you to insert the cable into the device. Hold the volume down button and insert the cable into your computer. Wait for the process to finish. It is important to be patient and not rush the process.

Tips for Connection Issues

If your phone is not connecting to the PC, make sure to clean the charging port. This simple step can help in establishing a connection between the device and the computer.
