Can someone do a comparison between the smarttag plus vs these smart tag 2?
I got the smarttag 2 but I have to admit besides them beeing really nice the battery seems to be a big lie or 2 of them are just empty? Both are empty now after 2,5-3 weeks of use. Samsung claims 2 years (1 if used often)

Pretty minor upgrades to warrant buying an entire new tag. I'm still waiting for a thin credit card sized tag for my wallet. That would sell well.
Whether the tag left behind option gives just a pop up notification or unique sound alert in phone?
I had a few Samsung SmartTags then I changed my Phone to a Google Pixel. You can't use them with any device other than a Samsung. It's the primary reason I'll not buy anymore Samsung tags. Gone to Tile now. Such a silly self defeating restriction

I was impressed my Smart Tag 1 battery lasted over 1 1/2 years. I only just today got my first notification to change the battery. But the smart tag 2 looks better and in AUS its starting at less than half the price of the smart tag 1. ST1 +$100 ST2 $44?
Why would you care so much about the case and scratching it???
It's a tracker, not jewellery. It's mean to get beat up, scratched blah, blah, blah…….
As long as it works, who cares about scratches.
Hey. You say with tag 2 the AR fun tion comes as standard, but I was unable to find it. And also when looking on the app, the tag2 is not listed as compatible device with this function.
Wish they would / could come out with a metal cased tag. Something more durable that won't break / crack.
