I like the look of the Ultra, but previous square edged phones have made holes in my pockets and felt uncomfortable. So this might be easier to live with.
Truthfully, I'm not a fan of the build language. Personally, I feel phones like this have absolutely no ergonomics whatsoever. In fact, I often refer to them as flat slab Flintstone phones. The seemingly endless right angles make it very uncomfortable to hold. Not to mention, it doesn't look anywhere near as premium as a curved glass phone. Of course, this is all subjective and others are welcome to their opinion. Let's just be honest, it looks like an iphone. LOL
On the other hand, the s24 plus does a lot of things right. In previous years, the plus models have been underpowered and overpriced. However, this year's plus model has been given some much-needed upgrades in the form of quad HD display, 12 g of RAM and a much larger battery. It comes far closer to being worth that $1,000 price tag than it did in previous years. In fact, unless you need an s pen and some gimmicky bits of titanium why spend the extra money on an ultra? For the first time in a long time, the plus model seems like a viable alternative.

I've had my S24 plus since Jan 26th and I must say I'm really enjoying it so far
Companies like OnePlus are underrated, Apple is overrated, Samsung is appreciated!
The problem is the OnePlus 12 is cheaper and better in every way. This is only good if you really need the Samsung ecosystem otherwise it's overpriced
It is giving me the vibes of iPhone 5 actually, even the new iPhone 15 Pro.
I'm thinking about trading in my S20 for this. How is the signal quality? Have you experienced any voice echoing? My S20 has voice echo on and off since I got it.
